AFTER SCHOOL / KOENJI
A second-year high school singer-songwriter who embraces loneliness and noise. Born from the backstreets of Koenji, Tokyo, Luna’s voice dissolves into reverb while tracing the pain and light hidden inside ordinary days.
Led by songs such as “Drown It Out with Noise” and “Noise at Dawn,” her music lets fragility and impulse collide. With an indie spirit and a street-level sensibility, her songs keep reaching people wandering through the city long after midnight.
Her lyrics live in after-school classrooms, stations before the last train, rainy Koenji streets, and sleepless two a.m. hours. She prefers the sound of fingers sliding across strings, a voice that cracks a little, and the noise of the city left inside a recording. Imperfection is part of the moment.
What she listens to, what she plays, and what kind of nights become songs—the pieces that shape Tsukishiro Luna’s sound.
01
FAVORITE MUSIC
Between silence and volume.
Hitsujibungaku, Kinoko Teikoku, Regal Lily, yonige, My Hair is Bad, The 1975, and Phoebe Bridgers. She is drawn to the moment when quiet music suddenly becomes noise, and to lyrics that feel like a piece of everyday life left untouched.
02
MAIN GEAR
A blue Stratocaster as her closest companion.
Her main guitar is a Fender Stratocaster / Blue, with a YAMAHA FS Series acoustic for quieter writing sessions. The worn blue guitar is the one she reaches for most, on stage and at home.
03
SOUND
Leave room for the echo.
BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver, RV-6 Reverb, DD-8 Digital Delay, and a Roland JC Series amp. Rather than burying everything in distortion, she builds a sound that feels as if it is arriving from somewhere just a little far away.
04
RECORDING
Layering the room with the city.
SHURE SM58, MacBook, Logic Pro, and Focusrite Scarlett Series. Demos may include guitar and vocals alongside rain, station platforms, and field recordings captured in back alleys.
05
FAVORITES
After the rain, between midnight and two.
Koenji backstreets, thrift stores, live houses, late-night convenience stores, iced coffee, films, books, night walks, people-watching, and recording the sound of the city.

WORDS
“It doesn’t have to be a beautiful sound. If it reaches someone, that is enough.”
Turning feelings she could never say out loud into guitar and voice—that is what music means to Luna.
